About Me
I'm a software engineer who works across systems and machine learning. I'm a Swedish and American citizen (and so an EU citizen), born in Bangkok and raised across six countries, which is where I got used to landing somewhere unfamiliar and working out how it fits together.
I studied computer science at the University of Groningen, where I graduated cum laude, and I'm now completing an MSc at EPFL. Along the way I've worked on both sides of what I care about: language models and the infrastructure to train them, embedded real-time systems, and probabilistic ML, alongside internships in software and data engineering.
Right now I'm a Software Engineer at Bloomberg in London, working on real-time C++ infrastructure. From October 2026 I'll be doing my EPFL Master's thesis, hosted at ETH Zurich, on diffusion language models for antibody design.
Outside of work I tutor students in maths, do the occasional hackathon (third place at LauzHack 2025), and travel a lot.
What I work on
My interests sit at two ends that keep meeting in the middle. On one side: low-latency and real-time systems, distributed and backend infrastructure, and performance-oriented C++. On the other: language models, ML systems, and research-oriented engineering. My Master's thesis is where those two threads come together.
